Apple iWork is a productivity suite you can use to extend the functionality of your MacBook. Open the Web browser on your MacBook and go to the Apple home page. Type 'iWork' into the search box in the upper right corner of the page. Click the first result that appears under 'Quick Links' to load the iWork website.

Scroll down until you see a link to download a free 30-day trial of iWork. Click the 'Download Now' link under 'Try iWork for Mac free for 30 days.'

Click the large 'Free Download for Mac' icon to begin the download. Save the file to your MacBook. Drag the downloaded file into the Applications folder to initiate installation.

Tips

  • Apple iWork may take several hours to download with a slow connection.
  • Your MacBook should have 512 MB of RAM or more, 1.2 GB of free disk space and Mac OS X 10.4.11 or Mac OS X 10.5.6 (or newer).
